All of these bits work great for other breeds as well. These bits are designed to "steady" the horses head. This is especially important for gaited horses as any "play" in the bit will offset the footfall. It is important for the mouthpiece (port) to be very well "rounded" with no sharp or thin edges on the pallet. These bits are imported from Columbia and are the best quality we have found.
